Hey, guys! Thanks to all who worked so hard to bring together the Ambergris Live Album Release Party last weekend. Huge success. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing, loving, and talented friends.

Ambergris, the album, is now available on iTunes for digital download here: Ambergris (feat. Phil Marshall) - The Vergence Project

More hard copy CDs coming soon….so stay tuned! Phil’s out on the road again, bringing his special brand of rock directly to you. Check out his web site for more info – Phil Marshall

So I wanted to fill you all in on what’s next. The release party was only the beginning. I’ve had a dream to have a place to talk about music and network with other musicians for a long time. That’s the vision for this site. So I’ve got a lot of work to do over the next few weeks.

Stay tuned for the storefront going up with links to the free download of the Live cut of “Lifting Me Up” that was promised to those of you who went to the concert. And I’ll be working on bringing more interesting blogging about the music, the industry, and the folks we meet along the way.

In the meantime, have a fabulous week, and know that you are all VP-VIPs to me.

Much love,
Sue

We make amazing music by bringing the artist & the audience together.

Today’s transitioning music industry is struggling to re-invent what matters most in music – the relationship between the artist & the audience and how music brings us together.  The Vergence Project is an evolving experiment in the production and distribution of music that focuses on supporting the artist directly.  We do this by connecting them to the audience using social media, direct funding for music production projects, and  by engaging the audience in developing their own musical ideas.
